Stanley W Goldenberg is a California-based pharmacist with more than 40 years of leadership experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specializing in long-term care (LTC) and senior care pharmacy.
Stan has a rich professional history founding numerous successful businesses such as OsteoGraphix which is a provider of education and treatment to patients with osteoporosis, Pharmatech LTC, a pharmacy performing FDA-approved clinical trials and most recently GK Healthcare whereas Owner and Founder, Stan provided retail pharmacy services to underserved neighborhoods.
Stan founded and ran a successful long-term care pharmacy for over 24 years, Commerce Pharmacy. He sold the business in 1996, however, he could not go into a quiet retirement. Stan remains passionate about senior care pharmacy and continues to be dedicated to providing quality care and expertise at several long-term care and assisted living facility pharmacies. He is currently President of the LTC division of Downey Plaza Pharmacy and Senior Account Manager for Med-Plus Pharmacy, as well as the senior care advisor at Strom and Associates.
Stan’s experience in building successful businesses in long-term care pharmacy, other pharmacy industry opportunities, and skilled nursing facility ownership make him an outstanding consultant to assist companies interested in building profitable pharmacy-related companies.
Stan also has served with distinction on several boards, most notably the California State Board of Pharmacy for 2 four-year terms. While serving on the Board of Pharmacy, Stan was elected to the Presidency for 2 consecutive years. Stan has a strong commitment to the elderly receiving quality care. His dedication is evidenced in his support for the Jewish Home for the Aging (in Los Angeles) regarding their issues with a long-term care pharmacy. He also served the Jewish Home for the Aging on their Board of Directors, as an Executive Director to NCS California and was the founder of the Long-Term Care Management Council.
Stan is an active member of several professional organizations including the American Society of Pharmacy Law, the California and American Pharmacists Associations, the California Council for the Advancement of Pharmacy, the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy and the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists, where he was selected as a Fellow.
Stan holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Arizona College of Pharmacy where he has been recognized as a Distinguished Alumnus and Alumnus of the Year.
